今日は比較の表現について勉強しましょう。２回目は前回の復習メインです。
比較②（原級・比較級・最上級）
Point ① 原級
基本形：A as 原級 as B 「AはBと同じくらい…」
※否定文（not as … as）になると「～ほど…ではない」という意味になります。
例文：Ken is as tall as Jiro. / Ken is not as old as me.
1. 次の文を日本語にしなさい。
① This man is as kind as my brother.
こちらの男性は私の兄と同じくらい親切です。
② Emi looks as happy as him.
エミは彼と同じくらい幸せそうに見える。
③ My car is as new as this one.
私の車はこの車と同じくらい新しい。
④ This pen isn’t as long as that one.
このペンはあのペンほど長くない。
2. （ ）内の語句を付け加えて、全文を書きかえなさい。
① He is busy.（私と同じくらい）
He is as busy as me.
② I have to get up early. (母と同じくらい)

③ I am not tall.（あなたほど）

④ Tom can’t run fast. (私ほど)

3. 英作文しなさい。
① エイミー(Amy)は私と同じ年齢（おなじくらい年を取っています）です。

② 私の犬はあの犬と同じくらい大きいです。

③ この車は新幹線と同じくらい速く走ります。
This car runs as fast as the Shinkansen.
④ 私の自転車はこの自転車ほど新しくありません。
My bike isn’t as new as this one.
⑤ ビル(Bill)はみさきほど熱心に英語を勉強しません。

Point ② 比較級
基本形：比較級（er） ＋ than A 「Aより～」
※比較級には否定文はありません。否定の意味を表すときは原級の否定文を使います。

Point ③ 最上級
基本形：the ＋ 最上級（est） 「最も・いちばんな～」
※後ろに続く語句：in（単数の場所・範囲） / of（複数の数・集団）
例文：Ken is the tallest in his class. / Ken is the tallest of the three.
