今日は比較の表現について勉強しましょう。４回目は綴りが長い形容詞・副詞の比較級、最上級を勉強しよう！
比較④ 長いつづりの形容詞・副詞
Point：長いつづりの比較級・最上級
三音節以上の語と二音節でも特別の語は、【more・most】をつけて比較級・最上級をつくる。
注：音節とは 1つの母音を中心とした音のかたまりのこと。
例：beau-ti-ful(3音節)、pop-u-lar(3音節)、fa-mous(2音節)
【裏技】 6字以上のスペルの単語にはmore/mostをつける。（例外：pretty, strong）
例文
① He is popular.（彼は人気があります）
② He is as popular as Tom.（彼はトムと同じくらい人気があります）
③ He is more popular than Tom.（彼はトムより人気があります）
④ He is the most popular in his class.（彼はクラスで一番人気があります）
